From joining to installing
Do steps 1 to 3 with the same Google account (Gmail) that is signed in to the Play Store on your Android phone. A different account will not be able to install.
Join the tester group
Open the Child of the Lighthouse tester Google Group with the button below, sign in with Gmail and press "Join group". There is no form to fill in and no waiting.
Join the tester groupPress "Become a tester"
With the same Gmail you used to join the group, open the button below and press "Become a tester" once. Joining the group alone does not make you a tester.
- If you see "You are now a tester", it worked.
- If you see "not found", you skipped step 1 or are signed in with a different Gmail.
Install the test version
Below "You are now a tester", press "Download it on Google Play", then Install. When it finishes, open Child of the Lighthouse and start climbing.
No install button? Tap your profile at the top right of the Play Store app, switch to the same Gmail and open the page again. Right after joining, it can take a little while to show up.
A small request. During the test, please keep the app installed and do not press "Leave the program". Testers need to stay in the program for the game to go through review for its full release. Share how it felt in the feedback board or at the official cafe.
